If the Couple cancels the wedding, the 25% retainer remains non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will require full payment of the remaining balance. Incapacity / Emergency: In the rare event that severe illness, catastrophic accident, or extreme acts of God prevent the Officiant from attending, the Officiant will make every reasonable effort to secure a qualified, certified backup officiant to perform the ceremony under these same terms. If a suitable backup cannot be found, all fees paid by the Couple (including the deposit) will be fully refunded, and the Officiant's liability shall be limited entirely to the return of those funds.

To secure your date on Melodyan’s calendar for both your rehearsal and ceremony, a non-refundable retainer of 25% of your total contract amount is required upon booking (subject to our cancellation policy terms). The remaining balance is due two weeks (14 days) prior to your wedding day.
